How is Orbimon different from the Starlink app?
The Starlink app focuses on one account at a time. Orbimon is for teams running many links: one operational view, history for investigations, and reports for stakeholders, with alerts in Slack, SMS, and email coming soon. Connect a collector on your network today; Starlink Enterprise API support is coming soon.
Do I need extra hardware?
Today, yes: you run a small edge device on the LAN (for example a Raspberry Pi) that reads the Starlink router and sends metrics to Orbimon over HTTPS. Once Starlink Enterprise API support is live (coming soon), Orbimon will ingest telemetry directly with no extra hardware.
Which connection path should I choose?
The local device is available today and suits a single site, branches, mobile deployments, or anywhere API access is not an option. The Enterprise API path (coming soon) is aimed at fleet-wide monitoring when you have credentials and many sites. You will be able to combine both.
What metrics does Orbimon track?
Latency, throughput, packet loss, uptime, and obstruction, with history for troubleshooting and trends. Review them in the dashboard or pull the same data into your own tools via API. Retention depends on your plan.
How do alerts work?
Alerts are coming soon. You will set thresholds and conditions that matter to your operation, such as outages, latency drift, or obstruction spikes, and Orbimon will notify the channels your team already uses, including Slack, SMS, and email.
How is pricing structured?
Plans depend on terminal count, connection path, retention, and support needs. There is no public price list. Use the contact form and we will outline options for your rollout.
