The problem
Orbimon comes from needing to know when one of my Starlink links fails, degrades, or sees more obstruction, without being on the same network, and without checking scarce mobile statistics all day.
I have been using Starlink since 2021. The official app is fine for a single dish in front of you. It is much less useful when you care about several sites, need history, or want a clear signal when something drifts before someone complains.
Who builds it
I am Javier Álvarez Medina, co-founder of Tinybird. After building real-time data products on ClickHouse®, I wanted to open the door for others who need to monitor Starlink, for personal use or for professional fleets.
Orbimon is independent. It is not affiliated with Starlink® or SpaceX®. The goal is simple: turn the metrics that already matter into an operational view you can trust from anywhere.
Where things stand
The project started in January 2026. Since July 2026 I have been actively building the features needed to offer it to users: connectivity paths, history, alerts, and the day-to-day workflow of watching links you depend on.
If that matches what you need, tell me about your sites. I am happy to help you figure out the right setup.
